No Words

I have a couple things about the Minnesota High School shooting that went down last week. Many have you have probably seen these things, but many probably have not.

This is a link to a video the killer made which is a bit disturbing considering what he did.

This is a link to the kid's MSN Profile Page, which, also, is disturbing.

If that lifts your spirits, go talk to someone.

I Got Nothing

I did my job and got off work for Saturday's fantasy baseball draft.

All of my brackets blow ass. Why do I waste money on that shit every year?

Some dude in a class of mine today came in the room, walked down an isle, plopped down in his desk and promptly, and loudly, announced to the entire class, "I smell like total ass crack."

I think he'd been out last night/this morning.

I'm sitting in the school's library hammering out a bunch of non-school related things when I should be hammering out very much school-related things. The "to do" list grows.

I like reading Aaron Gleeman's Blog. It has a lot of good Twins shit in it, but recently he said the Twins should acquire former Brewer Brooks Keischnick, which I will admit, I considered for about 7 seconds, but never enough to actually write something about it. That would a worse signing than the Juan Castro thing is turning out to be. Also, from his site, Luis Rivas was 0-6 in a minor league game the other day. Just hit .275 this year, Luis, c'mon man.

And this has been too long in not mentioning, but Bob Casey died, which sucks 'cause he was one of the best parts about going to Twins games. If you missed his call of Kirby Puckett's name, well, you just missed out.

I feel that I've written about Bob Casey some time recently, so I was reading my past couple blog entries, not finding anything about Mr. Casey, but I did see that I actually wrote this line, "I'm so fuckin' pumped for Opening Day." I'm sorry about that line, it sounds like it was uttered from the mouth of an eighth grade girl. Why don't you people call me out on that shit? And by "you people," yes, I am refering to blacks, hispanics, and chinese people.

Here's a hell of a story with a lot of unanswered questions.

And another story I would rather never be a part of.

Life's just full of shit, isn't it?

But I guess that's what makes each day interesting. Who would really want to know what was going to happen in the future? What fun would that be? None.

I'm going to procrastinate by doing something else now.

Until Later.

Spring Break and Beyond

Ok... Spring Break...

I expected more crazy, wild stories - and I'm sure some of you readers did too if you've been here on the weekends or read select entries that are massively edited - but they just didn't happen, for whatever reasons. Here are a few sentences on the week that was:

I got wasted on Monday and stumbled out of a club, ended up pissing on a palm tree on the side of Front Beach Rd in Panama City Beach. Jesse and Will found me and took me home.

Jesse got shitfaced early one night and developed an accent he didn't entirely get rid of until two days ago. I guess it was more of an inflection in his voice than an accent, but whatever.

I'll post a pic of Will.

The only casualty we has was one of Jesse's sandals went MIA. It is now being held a POW by the housecleaning staff of the Fiesta Hotel. If the military metaphor bothers you, then you should take a laxative cause you need to fuckin' loosen up.

That's about it. Sorry if it was a let down.

On to more important things:

Do we have the most bored Gov't in the history of the world?

Do they have nothing to do besides interfere in professional baseball and the private life of a dieing woman?

Do they need to pester in the dealings of a private enterprise? Do the executive and legislative branches need to meddle in matter in which they shouldn't even look at as professional politicians?

Seriously, we have troops all over the place, social security issues, just to mention two things that these elected officials could be doing other than attempting to gain public favor by paying attention to emotionally charged issues. All they are doing is embarrassing themselves. Even after The Prez signed whatever he signed, the judicial branch still prevailed and did what they were going to do. Give it up for Checks and Balances, huh?, no matter how much the other two branches want to ignore them.

I would like to run over, with a steam roller, all the protesters who were/are on their knees praying outside Mrs. Schiavo's hospital. Mind your own damn business.

And for real, to the family (here I go not minding my own damn business), I know it's tough but get over your denial and realize that after 15 years, your daughter ain't getting better and she is going to die, so let her go peacefully and with whatever dignity that you haven't already stripped her of.

Give it up for Chico State and Porn!

Cochran died. I guess if the glove won't go on, he'll move on.

Looking at this guy, would you have thought any different?

This was overdue.

I just read a headline that said, "Bush offers condolences after Earthquake" Just once I would like to read one that says, "Third world country refuses to accept Bush condolences on account of his insincerity and imperialistic behavior"

NCAA Tourney? Wow. Good stuff. My bracket blows. Good to see Wisconsin make a good run. Reddick is a tool. Illinois and UNC in the championship game. What was I thinking taking Florida out of there? Going out on a limb with a hunch I guess. Bad hunch. Sean May, good, real good.

I'm so fuckin' pumped for Opening Day.

I played some hoops with the roommates today. It was my first Macker Prep session. No matter how long I stay away from a court, my shot always comes back pretty quickly. Now my feet on the other hand, stuck in mud, a thick gooey, hardening, puddle of mud. That band sucks ass.

Will and I dropped two games out of three to Jesse and Shane. You never want to see Jesse win when he's yelling out cocky-ass remarks and shit. Then we played a little tip-horse, a game new to Shane that he didn't really dig. Jesse, as predictable Jesse will always do, only shot corner-threes, as they are the most difficult to tip. I wonder... I know he programs things, but is he programmed himself? I kid, I only kid. But now I expect blog-retaliation.

Jesse's great because he keeps me on my toes and doesn't let me get away with some of the bullshit I say, while other people either accept or look the other way.

Then, right before we were to leave, I propose that we shoot half court shots and the last person to make has to buy Dairy Queen. Of the first 30 shots or so we took combined, I have never seen more near makes in succcession from that distance. Adam Jefferson would have been freaking out. We were all rimming out and lipping out and (insert some other body part)ing out. Did you just look back at rimming to wonder if it is a body part?

Shane made first. Then Jesse. Then Will. But I had a chance to tie. I'll take you through my thoughts as the shot happened.

(getting ready to shoot) "I'm going to fucking make this, I have a feeling."

(as I'm shooting) "Feels good so far"

(watching ball in flight) "It looks pretty not bad, it has a chance!"

(seeing the ball hit the backboard square dead on "Bank in, bank in!"

(seeing the ball catch the front of the rim and head back toward going in) "Drop in, you fucker!"

(seeing the ball lip out of the right side of the rim) "God dammit, I propose a bet, then lose, again, how does this always happen, how did I have so many near makes and not make any of them, what the hell... who just said what about Bryce Drew? Whatever, I want to shower, let's get out of here."

Welcome inside my head.

That's all I have.

Until The Next.

Stuck

MTV 9:30... new show "Trippin'"

Cameron Diaz: "This will be the furthest I've ever been from home. It will be a fun trip."

Redman: "Yeah, I've taken some trips, man, I've taken some TRIPS!"

(Laughter)

That's all I have. My bad.

The words weren't pulling me in, I was pushing them out, so the recap will have to wait until tomorrow.

Until Then.

I Love Random Referrals.

Before I begin boring with you spring break crap, I should note that someone reached my blog by typing "grand daddys wausau" into yahoo's search engine. It landed them at the post I wrote about our experience at Wausau's finest Gentleman's Club. Comedy.

And I see people are looking for the recap as hits on this blog went up a ton on Sunday and look as if they will today too, so it will come soon. As you are reading this, I am probably writing it.

Until I Finish.
